We are a Wisconsin Bear Guide Service located on the south shore of Lake Superior in Bayfield County, Wisconsin. Our camp is located in Wisconsin Bear Hunting Zone "A". Bayfield County is in the heart of trophy Black Bear country in Wisconsin. We have owned and managed this land since 1985. We are ready to offer you an exciting and memorable hunting experience. Critter Getter Outfitters specializes in Wisconsin bear hunts. We take pride in personalizing your hunting experience. The number of hunters in camp is limited to ensure you have a great hunting experience.

About your outfitter...

Critter Getter Outfitters is a Wisconsin Bear Hunting Guide Service owned and operated by Bill Millhausen. Bill has been guiding in the area for over 30 years. Our years of experience and relationships have allowed us to establish bait sites that produce year after year. Our vast knowledge of the area gives our clients the maximum opportunity to harvest trophy bear. Bill and his guides are life-long outdoorsmen who strive to make your adventure the best possible. We have been on guided trips around the world and know what the client expects when embarking on a guided hunting trip. We are committed to you, your adventure and your needs leading up to and during your time with us. We pay close attention to the details to make sure your adventure is "one of a lifetime". What to expect...

The fist couple of weeks of September are always exciting. Your guides have been working all summer to ensure you have an opportunity to harvest the bear you've waited years to encounter. Critter Getter Outfitters or "CGO" as your guides like to refer to it provides not only great hunts but also clean and modern accommodations even in an off-grid camp.
